Terrible performance

I use this app with a Microsoft Band 2. The band is great, I love it. This app, though. It leaves much to be desired. What is up with the long sync times? Ive got a 6s. No reason for sync to take over a minute. Tops. It does constantly. Ive used this band with my Lumia 950 and it didnt have this issue. Also, I was finishing a run and opened the app to see details and the app immediately hijacked my band and began some long winded software update. At least let us consent and accept the update.... This isnt a Windows 10 upgrade!
